Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi at 0800 Hours (morning option) and depart for the coffee tour by road, the farm is approximately 8 kilometers from Nairobi, Fairview Coffee Estate is a beautiful coffee farm with nearly 100 acres piece of private land. It is well managed with beautiful flower gardens besides the coffee plantation and manufacturing factory. On arrival you will be met by the coffee farm representative with wide range of experience on the coffee farming to production bit of it. The coffee representative will take you for a walk to the farm giving you information on the farming, have a chance to see the coffee berries from the farm, see how they are picked when ready and moved to the factory. A chance to see how berries are sought out, dried and then processed. You have a chance to do it by yourself as you accompany the coffee workers and it makes you feel at home and exciting! After this the coffee representative will give a chance to coffee taste a few brands, then visit the coffee shop to buy some coffee branded with Kenya label at a reasonable fee. This is wonderful because when you get back home you tell of the story of how you learnt on coffee production. Your coffee is packed and next you ll have a moment to enjoy coffee served at the beautiful garden. After having coffee, you will leave the farm, driver guide will drop you back at the hotel/apartment. We have two options Morning or Afternoon Tour. Kindly make an early reservation.
