We didn’t want the standard tour as my little kids wouldn’t want to see the Blixen museum so Stella came up with a bespoke tour of the National park, sheldrick elephant orphanage and giraffe centre as well as lunch at Carnivore. Lawrence was an amazing guide who moved heaven and earth to get the most animals.

Kenya Day Tours was really quick with contacting me (unlike others!) and my consultant Stella was really professional and... read more helpful. Pickup was on time (!) and my driver Lawrence was very nice and even assisted me with buying the entrance ticket. The park itself is way smaller than other famous parks in Kenya but offers fantastic views of animals like zebras and giraffes against the backdrop of the city's skyline, something no other city has to offer as far as i know! We have seen a family of rhinos from very close, but also 3 lions, a jackal, buffalos, many birds, crocodiles and even a giraffe giving birth - this was crazy, even Lawrence was impressed!

The ivory burning site was very impressing, be sure to do some research to fully understand the value of this monument.
